V. ANNE KIBRICK LEADERSHIP AWARD
In 2002 this award was granted to Margaret McAllister PhD RN FNP FAANP for her efforts as Past President of Theta Alpha Chapter. In addition, Dr. McAllister was inducted as a Fellow in the Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In 2001, this award was presented to Gail Russel EdD RN, UMASS Boston Director, PhD Program.
Year 2000 awarded Diane Gillis MS RN, Past President of Theta Alpha Chapter, for her outstanding accomplishments as Outgoing President.
CRITERIA:
A. Receives local, national and/or international recognition as a nursing leader in education, practice, administration, and/or research
B. Influences leadership in nursing through visionary and innovative approaches to leadership
C. Creates an environment that enhances the image of nursing/nurses
D. Participates in the development of nursing leaders and leadership
