Year 2002 found Jacqueline Carrol BSN RN the proud recipient of this award.
At the 17th Annual Indiction Ceremony, 2001, Theta Alpha Chapter was pleased to present Victoria Jo Morrison with this honor.
Last year this award was granted to Marion Jeffries RN BS, Masters student in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program and an outstanding graduate teaching assistant at the College of Nursing.
AWARD: $500.00 Award to support ongoing educational endeavors
CRITERIA:
A. Undergraduate or graduate student that demonstrates outstanding student performance
B. GPA of 3.5 for graduate and 3.0 for Undergraduate students
C. Faculty endorsement with consideration to the following attributes
-Communication skills
-Creativity in scholarly work & approach to nursing practice promoting quality client care
-Demonstrates sound knowledge base in clinical judgments and practice
-Development and support of other students
-Superior preparation/organizational skills
-Potential for future contributions to the profession
-Demonstrates attitude of inquiry in scholarly and clinical work
-Participation in pre-professional or professional organizations
