VIII. UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE, and DOCTORAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Theta Alpha Chapter at UMASS Boston awards one Undergraduate, one Graduate and one Doctoral scholarship each year. These awards are usually presented at the annual induction ceremony.
Students do not need to be a member of Sigma Theta Tau to apply.
Student must complete application available at the College of Nursing Reception Desk
CRITERIA:
A. A matriculated student in an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctoral nursing program
B. Demonstrated academic excellence/achievement
C. Fully completed application
D. Submission by deadline (Incomplete applications will not be considered)
E. In addition, one or more of the following criteria must be met for scholarship consideration:
1. Active member in the Student Nurse Association
2. Demonstrated community involvement
3. Faculty recommendation demonstrating clinical potential
PLEASE NOTE: The Awards Committee will be meeting to begin the application review process. If you are unable to mail your application to be received by the posted deadline, you may put the application in the Theta Alpha Chapter Mailbox located in the College of Nursing
